About the SCCA

The Sumter County Cattlemen's Association works closely with the State and National Cattlemen's to be the voice of local Ranchers through Education, Community Outreach, Legislative efforts, and Youth development.

Education and Outreach

Sumter County Cattlemen deserve to have their voice. Here at the SCCA we take this need very seriously and want every rancher big and small to feel heard. The Sumter County Cattlemen’s Association believes the education of public and new ranchers is the first step of advocating the needs of local producers.

Youth Development

The Sumter County Cattlemen’s Association is proud to support youth looking to further their education in Agriculture. Whether contributing to FFA and 4-H livestock projects or providing various scholarships the SCCA understands the need for youth development to the future of agriculture as a whole.

Dedicated to sustaining a viable ranching industry in Florida through the development of future leaders. The preservation of its rich history is of utmost importance as well.
